Al-Mustaqbal University College has adopted many programs and activities that aim to implement the digital transformation plan. Indeed, many digital systems have been applied that could manage any affairs related to students or employees, and thus creating an attractive technical environment that could achieve high levels of quality and performance. We should keep in mind as well that all these efforts shall finally lead to achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
The IT Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University College has managed to implement a number of systems and programs that work on providing students, employees as well as the academics with an integrated educational environment. These systems and programs include registration procedures, checking data, distributing students to scientific departments and to classrooms, issuing Electronic Identities through the use of Barcode and RFID Technology, Electronic Attendance and Absence System, Tuition Payment Services, Results Announcement, Electronic Objection System, Acquittal, Book Borrowing Services, Student Notifications on the College Application and the Digital Lecture System.
As a matter of fact, Al-Mustaqbal University College has been applying Student Registration System for the second year in order to facilitate the flow of process, activating meanwhile students’ admission to their desired departments. The system in fact shortens the registration procedures to a few steps that can be implemented in a short time.
It is remarkable to note that this system has been developed by the IT staff of Al-Mustaqbal University College, and thus representing the starting point for establishing the Integrated Student Affairs Management Systems.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abid, Head of IT Unit has emphasized the vitality of Electronic Systems in the Management of Student Affairs as they facilitate the registration mechanism, in addition to the work of administrative and financial divisions.
