Al-Mustaqbal University College Participates in a Workshop Organized by University of Babylon in cooperation with the Scientific Supervision & Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education.

A delegation representing Al-Mustaqbal University College has participated in a workshop that has been organized by University of Babylon in cooperation with the Scientific Supervision & Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education.
The workshop has mainly focused on discussing the resolutions & recommendations of the Transforming Education Summit 2022, with the attendance of representatives from both Public as well as Private Institutions, in addition to E-Learning Units.
During the workshop, a review has been submitted by Dr. Amir Saleem Al-Ameer the Head of the E-Learning Team, addressing the international trends and transformation of education that the whole world has witnessed, including Iraq, during COVID 19 Pandemic and its consequences. The lecturer has emphasized the great challenges confronting Higher Education Institutions due to expectations of other serious disease epidemics that might outbreak.
Other issues have also been discussed, including the mechanism to be followed in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, transforming education towards adopting Electronic Learning C & C3. Meanwhile, there should be an emphasis on expanding green areas inside University Campuses. Besides, Higher Education Institutions should have HR, OER, and SIS Systems, that are highly required by these institutions.
It has been confirmed that the Ministry has instructed for the application of the four issues approved by the UN Transforming Education Summit 2022, along with the recommendations, including E-Learning, digital transformation, development of capabilities, long-life education as well as exploring new methods & techniques in the fields of learning.
Dr. Al-Ameer added that adoption of the UN Summit Recommendations shall lead to promoting research efficiency and competition among educational institutions for World Rankings.
