The academic Mr. Ali Jawad Al-Rubaie, at the Department of Medical Devices Techniques has published a scientific research entitled

“Techno-economic and environmental evaluation of PV/diesel/battery hybrid energy system using improved dispatch strategy”

The research has been published in the British Journal “Energy Reports” with an Impact Factor of 6.87, and related to Elsevier, which is indexed within SCOPUS / Clarivate Engines, Q1.
It is remarkable to note that the research has aimed to achieve the optimum design PV/Diesel/HES battery for electrification of rural areas in Iraq. Indeed, a new transmission strategy for 12-hour load and solar energy production has been developed through the utilization of MATLAB Link in HOMER Software. Besides, A comparison between the proposed strategy and the HOMER Virtual Course has been conducted, taking into consideration the technical, economic as well as the environmental performance.
