The activities of the Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week 2026 officially commenced at Al-Mustaqbal University under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the direct supervision of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The event witnessed broad academic and community participation, reflecting the university’s leading role in promoting sustainable development initiatives. The opening ceremony was attended by faculty members, university staff, and students, alongside distinguished guests from various universities and representatives of different sectors of society. During the ceremony, the University President officially inaugurated the event, which is regarded as one of the university’s most prominent academic initiatives dedicated to promoting the culture of sustainability and enhancing environmental awareness both within the university community and beyond. As part of the opening activities, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy inaugurated several scientific exhibitions showcasing innovative projects and student-led initiatives aimed at providing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
