President of Al-Mustaqbal University Receives Delegation from the Communications and Media Commission and Discusses Prospects for Joint Cooperation

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, received a delegation from the Communications and Media Commission / Babylon Branch, headed by Mr. Haider Al-Maamouri, in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mundhir Fadhil Hassan. The meeting was held within the framework of strengthening institutional communication and developing areas of joint cooperation between the two sides. The University President welcomed the delegation, noting that cooperation between educational institutions and media authorities represents an important step in keeping pace with modern developments. He explained that the university is working to enhance its capacities in the fields of media and digital technologies and seeks to build effective partnerships with the Communications and Media Commission to support training initiatives and develop a practical learning environment for students. For his part, Mr. Haider Al-Maamouri expressed his pride in cooperating with Al-Mustaqbal University, praising its academic level and noticeable development. He affirmed the Commission’s readiness to provide support in the areas of training, capacity building, and the exchange of technical expertise, in a manner that serves students and enhances the efficiency of professionals working in the media and communications sector. Both sides agreed to strengthen institutional cooperation in training students of the Media Department at the College of Arts within media institutions, thereby providing an advanced practical environment that contributes to refining their skills and increasing their readiness for the labor market. The delegation from the Communications and Media Commission also extended its congratulations to the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University on the occasion of the university’s achievement of first place in the Iraqi National Ranking, commending this accomplishment as a reflection of its academic standing and progress among higher education institutions. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continued coordination and the activation of joint programs that contribute to achieving institutional development goals and serving the community.
