Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment, securing first place among private universities in Iraq and third place among all Iraqi public and private universities. It has also been ranked in the 101–125 band among Arab universities, out of 269 ranked institutions, according to the results of the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings 2027. The University recorded notable results in the areas of Research Quality and International Outlook. Its performance indicator scores, out of 100, included 60.6 in Research Quality and 59.6 in International Outlook, while it achieved 19.1 in Industry, 14.5 in Research Environment, and 12.3 in Teaching. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr Hassan Shakir Majdi, expressed his pride and appreciation for this dual achievement. He affirmed that the University’s first-place ranking among private universities in Iraq, third-place ranking among all Iraqi universities, and position within an advanced Arab ranking represent the true outcome of sustained institutional efforts and a firm commitment to quality and excellence.
