Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the University’s Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance organized a specialized workshop titled "Modern Teaching and Learning Strategies" on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Mazloum Al-Maamouri, a faculty member at the College of Education, University of Babylon, and took place in the Engineering Technologies building, Lecture Hall 3B. The workshop aimed to introduce the latest teaching and learning strategies and their effective application within a university environment. It focused on developing skills for designing active and innovative learning spaces, highlighting the role of technology and artificial intelligence in advancing the educational process, fostering collaborative and participatory learning, and employing modern assessment methods in alignment with quality and academic accreditation requirements. The workshop covered several key academic topics, including active learning strategies, collaborative learning, brainstorming, and problem-solving. It also addressed blended and e-learning, the role of technology and artificial intelligence in improving learning outcomes, the design of effective educational activities, and the implementation of modern assessment techniques. The workshop was attended by various faculty members and individuals interested in the field of education.
