As part of its literary and critical activities, a critical study by Dr. Hamza Allawi Musarbat, Head of the Design Department at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, has been published in Sutoor Literary Magazine. The study examines the poem “The Lands I Never Returned From” by Iraqi poet and media professional Ahmed Maliya. The study explores the poem’s artistic and semantic dimensions through a critical reading of its poetic structure, expressive imagery, and emotional and human significance, highlighting the poet’s experience and artistic vision. This publication reflects the cultural and literary engagement of the College of Fine Arts’ academic staff and their contribution to enriching critical discourse and promoting the analysis of creative texts, while strengthening the connections between visual arts, literature, and literary criticism.
