Pressure on the ulnar nerve at the elbow can cause numbness and tingling in the ring and little fingers. Symptoms may increase when the elbow remains bent for long periods. Selected night splints limit prolonged bending and help maintain a more comfortable position for the nerve. Avoiding direct pressure on the elbow is also important. Splint selection requires assessment, particularly when hand weakness or persistent symptoms are present.
