Attended by council members, the session focused on discussing academic and developmental matters, as well as following up on directives from the Ministry. The University President commended the institution’s achievements and its advanced standing in international rankings—notably the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings and the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. He underscored the importance of expanding international collaboration, specifically by leveraging European Union programs such as Erasmus+ and the Jean Monnet Actions. He also provided an overview of his participation in the General Assembly of the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), held at the University of Barcelona, ​​Spain. Discussions there centered on strategic priorities for the advancement of higher education, the promotion of digital transformation, and the pursuit of sustainable development. The meeting included directives to support student activities, intensify promotional campaigns for university departments and specializations, enhance academic programs and curricula, and strengthen international partnerships. Furthermore, the council addressed the implementation of Ministry directives regarding the 2025–2026 academic year, designating it as a "non-failure" year for eligible students, in accordance with established regulations.
