Iraqi Academics Syndicate Representative Discusses Faculty Rights and Benefits at Al-Mustaqbal University

On 10 October 2026, Asst. Lecturer Hassan Hadi Ansaif, representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, held an expanded meeting with teaching staff from the Department of Design to discuss academic rights and benefits and strengthen the Syndicate’s role in supporting faculty members and safeguarding their professional interests. Ansaif emphasized the importance of official Syndicate membership for teaching staff, highlighting its role in strengthening collective representation and pursuing academic rights and entitlements. He also stressed the importance of maintaining communication with the Syndicate and benefiting from its services in addressing administrative and professional challenges. The meeting addressed several issues concerning academics’ rights and benefits, including residential land entitlements, legal assistance and professional consultations, service discounts and banking facilities, support for scientific research and academic participation, as well as social and cultural activities and recognition of outstanding academic achievements. The meeting concluded with an open discussion in which faculty members shared their views, suggestions, and needs. Ansaif reaffirmed his commitment to conveying their demands to the relevant Syndicate authorities and following up on them to safeguard academics’ professional rights and promote a supportive university environment.
