The Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries held an awareness workshop titled “University Discipline,” led by Engineer Ahmed Abbas, with the participation of students from the department. The workshop addressed the importance of adhering to university regulations and instructions, emphasizing the need to arrive on time and not be late for lectures, as well as maintaining regular attendance. It also stressed the importance of honesty and integrity and the need to avoid falsifying information, misrepresenting statements, or misquoting others. The workshop also emphasized the importance of respecting faculty and fellow students, maintaining appropriate university conduct, and adhering to guidelines that contribute to a well-organized and respectful learning environment. This workshop is part of the department’s commitment to fostering a culture of discipline and responsibility among students and to reinforcing academic and ethical values within the university environment.
