Prof. Dr. Alaa Dhari Jawad, Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries at the College of Engineering, Future University, attended a meeting with the Accreditation Committee of the College of Engineering, in the presence of the Assistant Dean, on September 29, 2026. During the meeting, participants discussed the mechanisms and requirements for preparing the department’s self-assessment report in accordance with the standards and requirements of Iraqi national accreditation, with the aim of enhancing the quality of the educational and academic process and improving the department’s institutional performance. The meeting also addressed the follow-up on accreditation requirements, the mechanism for documenting the data, evidence, and indicators necessary for preparing the report, and coordination between the department and the Accreditation Committee to ensure that the self-assessment requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the approved standards. The department chair emphasized the importance of integrated efforts and collaborative work to complete the report as required, thereby supporting the College of Engineering and Future University’s commitment to achieving quality standards and academic accreditation.
