Al-Mustaqbal University Makes Its Global Debut in the THE World University Rankings 2027

Al-Mustaqbal University has made its global debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, securing a position in the (1201–1400) band globally. This ranking included 2,297 universities from 118 countries and regions. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, extended his warmest congratulations to all university staff—including faculty members, researchers, and administrative personnel. He emphasized that this achievement is the fruit of sustained academic and research efforts, as well as institutional work aimed at enhancing the university's presence in international scientific forums. The University President noted that this global ranking places Al-Mustaqbal University second in Iraq—following the University of Technology—and first among Iraqi private universities within the (1201–1400) global band. This reflects the university's ongoing development in education, scientific research, and institutional performance. He affirmed that this achievement serves as a catalyst for further improving academic and research performance, strengthening international scientific cooperation, and elevating the quality of university programs and practices, thereby consolidating Al-Mustaqbal University’s standing at both local and global levels.
