Dr. Samar Jasim Lazim, a lecturer in the Department of Media at Al-Mustaqbal University, has been awarded a PhD with First-Class Honours from Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, following the defence of her doctoral dissertation on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. This outstanding academic achievement reflects her dedicated scientific and research efforts in the field of media and communication. Her doctoral dissertation, titled “The Uses of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Media Content Production in Iraqi Press Institutions,” addressed a contemporary topic related to the rapid development of intelligent technologies and their pivotal role in modernising news content production methods within press institutions, in line with the comprehensive digital transformations taking place across the media sector.
