Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, participated in the activities of the 36th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE 2026), held at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, United Kingdom, under the theme “The Rhythm of Revolution.” This distinguished participation reflects the presence of Iraq and Al-Mustaqbal University at Europe’s largest gathering and leading event for international education. Al-Mustaqbal University participated as the Iraqi academic institution represented within the FEDE Pavilion, highlighting its advanced academic portfolio of 55 educational programs, showcasing its academic and research capabilities, and connecting authenticity and modern educational advancement with the rich civilisational heritage of Babylon and Iraq. The university was present alongside leading universities and educational institutions from around the world, including France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Italy, and Switzerland, to explore prospects for academic cooperation and student exchange. President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, emphasised that the participation aims to build sustainable institutional partnerships that translate into tangible programs, projects, and genuine opportunities for students and researchers. The university’s international presence resulted in the signing of a number of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding with participating universities and institutions, aimed at developing joint programs, enhancing academic and research exchange, and keeping pace with the latest global strategies for the internationalisation of higher education, in ways that serve its students and academic staff on the global stage.
