An official delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University visited the American University of Baghdad in response to an official invitation to explore prospects for joint cooperation and establish new pathways for a sustainable academic and scientific partnership between the two institutions. The visit comes within the university’s strategic direction and the guidance of its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, to expand its network of partnerships and strengthen its presence within the university cooperation ecosystem. The delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and included a number of directors of departments and centers at the University Presidency. They were received by Mr. Ziad Shaaban, Executive Director of the Center of Excellence for Creativity and Development, Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Mahmoud, Consulting Expert, along with a number of officials and academics from the American University of Baghdad. During the meeting, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the academic journey and development of Al-Mustaqbal University, as well as its key achievements in scientific research, local and international rankings, and global partnerships. The American University of Baghdad also delivered an introductory presentation outlining its vision, programs, and academic experience. This was followed by an extensive dialogue on areas of mutual interest, with the aim of exchanging expertise and creating high-quality opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain ongoing communication and coordination to further explore areas of cooperation and finalize the framework of the partnership, paving the way for the implementation of joint programs and initiatives that enhance academic and research integration and establish a sustainable partnership with a tangible impact on the development of education and scientific research and service to the community.
