Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished digital milestone by topping the ranking of Iraqi private universities in the EduIndex.ai regional index for the Middle East and North Africa. The University ranked fourth nationally and 169th regionally, reshaping the landscape of academic competition across generative artificial intelligence platforms. According to the July 2026 edition of the global index, which specializes in measuring universities’ presence across artificial intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini, Al-Mustaqbal University recorded notable scores across the index’s key indicators. It achieved 60 points in the Large Language Model Readiness (LLM Readiness) criterion, 41 points in Perceptions, and 78.3 points in Traffic, resulting in an overall score of 55.3 points in the comprehensive index. With this advancement, Al-Mustaqbal University surpassed several long-established universities in the national ranking, placing behind the University of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriyah University, and Tishk International University, while ranking ahead of more than 80 public and private universities. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, affirmed that this progress reflects the University’s strategic direction toward adopting proactive digital strategies that go beyond traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to building a genuine and influential presence within the generative artificial intelligence ecosystem. EduIndex, developed by Anything is Possible, is considered the first independent index to monitor and update universities’ presence and institutional standing across the intelligent digital space on a monthly basis.
