Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, attended the third and final day of the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, held at Palexpo. The closing sessions focused on the practical deployment and real-world implementation of emerging technologies to support public services, industry, and sustainable development, reflecting the University’s commitment to translating innovation into tangible societal impact. The final day featured intensive academic and technological discussions that shifted from theoretical frameworks and governance toward the operational implementation of intelligent systems across service sectors, industry, and sustainable mobility. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy participated in specialized workshops exploring the concept of “cities that think and act” through Agentic AI, the integration of digital and physical environments through the Citiverse, and future connected vehicles operating within intelligent transportation networks. The academic program also included the closing sessions of the ITU Kaleidoscope Conference, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which highlighted the infrastructure required to support artificial intelligence, including AI-native 5G and 6G networks, digital sovereignty, and the latest advances in quantum networking. The sessions further addressed the “AI for the Global Majority” initiative, focusing on the development of AI applications tailored to the cultural and economic contexts of developing countries.
