Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the National Workshop on Quality Assurance of the Bologna Process Implementation, hosted by Al-Noor University in Mosul. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, along with presidents and vice presidents of public and private universities, as well as a distinguished group of international experts. Representing Al-Mustaqbal University were Asst. Prof. Dr. Amin Mohammed Kitab, Assistant Dean of the Technical Engineering College, and Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance. The workshop was organized as part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance the quality of the Bologna Process implementation across Iraqi universities and to advance academic programs in accordance with European standards and accreditation requirements. The workshop featured a series of scientific sessions addressing the current status of the Bologna Process implementation in higher education institutions, the challenges associated with its adoption, and mechanisms for external quality evaluation. Participants also reviewed successful international experiences in academic policy development and quality assurance, with contributions from international experts, aiming to strengthen institutional readiness and further develop academic registration systems and educational programs in line with internationally recognized standards.
