Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new milestone in its journey of academic excellence by securing the first position among Iraqi private universities and colleges in the URAP 2026 (University Ranking by Academic Performance) for the third consecutive year. The achievement reflects the university’s sustained commitment to advancing scientific research, academic quality, and international competitiveness. According to the latest URAP results, Al-Mustaqbal University ranked third nationally among all Iraqi universities, both public and private, following the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology. The university also demonstrated remarkable global progress by advancing 294 places compared with the previous year, highlighting the growing impact of its research output and academic performance. URAP is recognized as one of the most respected international university ranking systems, assessing institutions based on objective research and academic indicators derived from Clarivate Analytics databases. These indicators include scientific publications, citation impact, research productivity, and international academic collaboration. The university’s continued success in this ranking reflects the effectiveness of its strategic vision, which prioritizes high-quality education, research excellence, innovation, and international engagement. Through continuous investment in its academic and research infrastructure, Al-Mustaqbal University has strengthened its position among leading higher education institutions at both the national and international levels.
