A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Technical College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, to discuss the requirements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the organization of scientific conferences, in line with the directions of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University to hold specialized conferences in the fields of artificial intelligence and computer science. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Energy Research Center, as well as the heads of the following departments: Computer Engineering, Medical Devices, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, in addition to the Construction and Building Department and the Fuel and Energy Department, reflecting the integration between engineering and scientific specializations in supporting research activity. During the meeting, the Head of the Scientific Affairs Division, Asst. Lect. M.D. Mohammed Maytham, reviewed the latest updates and requirements that must be provided for organizing an international conference according to the approved regulations and instructions of the Ministry, contributing to enhancing the quality of scientific conferences and strengthening the academic research environment within the university. The Head of the Fuel and Energy Engineering Department, Dr. Ammar Abdulkadhim Fathi, also participated in the meeting within the discussions on presenting and developing mechanisms for organizing scientific conferences, in support of the university’s directions to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments. The attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between different academic departments to present high-quality conferences that contribute to supporting scientific research and serving society, and to consolidating the university’s position in the academic and research field.
