Al-Mustaqbal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Directorate of Industrial Development at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to enhance areas of mutual cooperation, unify efforts to empower youth, and transform entrepreneurial and innovative ideas into promising productive projects that serve the labor market. The agreement aligns with the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to expand strategic partnerships with governmental institutions. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented at the signing ceremony by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, while the General Directorate of Industrial Development was represented by its Director General, Dr. Eng. Ali Ibrahim Janaan. The ceremony was also attended by the Director of the Cultural Relations Department at the university, Dr. Samir Badrawi, as well as the Assistant Director of the Planning and Studies Department and Head of the Graduates Division at the Directorate, Ms. Huda Qasim Khazal. The memorandum aims to expand cooperation in scientific, research, and training fields, facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge, and implement joint initiatives that develop the entrepreneurial skills of students and graduates while enhancing their creative capabilities in line with the requirements of economic development. Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized that the university continues to build distinguished partnerships that strengthen integration between higher education and various employment sectors, while preparing qualified cadres capable of leading innovation pathways. For his part, Dr. Eng. Ali Ibrahim Janaan stated that the General Directorate of Industrial Development is committed to benefiting from rigorous scientific research outputs to support the industrial sector, invest in the potential of young people, and transform their ideas into real projects that contribute to the national economy. He noted that this agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to establishing an effective partnership that provides a supportive environment for initiatives and promotes the development of a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
