Al-Mustaqbal University Scientific Supervision Office Holds Consultative Meeting to Coordinate Scientific Initiatives and Advance Innovation and Digital Transformation

The Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University held an extensive consultative meeting chaired by the Academic Supervisor, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, with the participation of directors of scientific departments and divisions, research centers, the Continuing Education Center, and a number of staff members from the relevant units. The meeting aimed to schedule scientific activities and events for the upcoming period in accordance with submitted plans, as well as to evaluate progress achieved in implementing the objectives of previous plans. The meeting was conducted in line with the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, regarding the continuous monitoring and enhancement of scientific performance across the university. Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi opened the meeting by emphasizing the importance of translating the University Presidency’s directives and University Council decisions into clear, measurable, and actionable plans that align with the institution’s vision for organizational development and academic excellence. The meeting addressed several strategic themes, including the promotion of artificial intelligence initiatives and digital transformation, the implementation of an AI literacy program for all university members, and the unification of specialized training programs under the supervision of the Continuing Education Center. Discussions also focused on activating the university’s ecosystem of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, evaluating promising entrepreneurial graduation projects, and establishing specialized committees to support their commercialization. In addition, participants reviewed operational plans for the summer period based on clearly defined performance indicators. Within the community engagement agenda, emphasis was placed on utilizing the university’s scientific expertise to address developmental challenges in Babil Governorate. The meeting also reviewed preparations for the First Al-Mustaqbal University Alumni Forum, aimed at expanding training and employment opportunities for graduates. Furthermore, participants highlighted the importance of documenting institutional achievements through the university’s electronic platform and enhancing media performance and institutional marketing efforts to strengthen the university’s academic presence at both national and international levels. The meeting concluded with several key recommendations, including the preparation of a unified implementation plan for all university units during the summer break, the adoption of artificial intelligence programs as a priority area for professional development, the formation of a central committee to oversee entrepreneurial projects, and the expansion of partnerships with both public and private sector institutions in support of sustainable development.
