Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the international conference titled "Man and Civilization in Africa and Asia Throughout History," held at the University of Tunis El Manar in the Republic of Tunisia from April 1 to 4, 2026. The event was organized in coordination with the University of Mostaganem in Algeria, featuring a distinguished group of Arab and foreign researchers and academics. The university's participation was represented by a joint scientific research paper presented by the Consultant at Al-Mustaqbal University Presidency, Professor Dr. Mohsin Abd Ali Al-Fraiji, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Kadhim Moussa Mohammad Al-Taie from the University of Mosul. The paper, titled "The Sahara Desert Between the Concepts of Population Expulsion and Attraction," included an in-depth analytical study of cultural and demographic interactions and their historical impact on the African and Asian continents. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, congratulated this outstanding scientific output, emphasizing the university's continuous support for academics and researchers to represent Iraq in international forums.
