As part of the academic and creative activities at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, calligrapher assistant lecturer Mousa Diaa has designed a booklet titled “Arabic Calligraphy… Art and Identity,” highlighting the aesthetics and cultural dimensions of this timeless art form. The booklet reflects aspects of the artist’s academic and creative experience, presenting key concepts of Islamic Arabic calligraphy as one of the most prominent expressions of cultural and civilizational identity. It also explores the artistic and historical dimensions of calligraphy, emphasizing its expressive values and its role in shaping artistic awareness. This work represents an integrated experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, demonstrating a high level of artistic and intellectual development in the field of visual arts. The booklet was produced and printed under the supervision of the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of its continuous support for creative initiatives that promote artistic heritage while keeping pace with contemporary trends.
