The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a recreational trip for second and third-year students to the ancient city of Babylon on Wednesday, 29/4, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Thaer Raouf, Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar, and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan, as part of university activities aimed at enhancing student engagement and strengthening connection with the national cultural heritage.
The trip included an educational tour of Babylon’s archaeological sites, helping students learn about Iraq’s rich history and highlighting the importance of preserving cultural heritage, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education, heritage preservation, and cultural identity.
Through such activities, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that combines learning and recreation while contributing to the development of students’ personalities and cultural awareness.
