The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, held a scientific seminar titled "The Role of Media and Linguistic Education in Building Sustainable Awareness" on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The event took place in one of the department's halls, attended by a group of professors and students interested in media and educational affairs. The seminar highlighted the strategic importance of integration between the media message and linguistic education in consolidating concepts of sustainable awareness and shaping critical thinking. Furthermore, it addressed the role of this integration in enhancing the cultural identity of individuals to confront rapid developments in modern communication means. The seminar lectures were presented by Assistant Lecturer Duaa Razzaq Abbas, Assistant Lecturer Sura Qasim Inad, and Assistant Lecturer Maryam Abdul Karim Sahib. They provided a solid scientific presentation addressing the impact of media language in guiding public opinion and the necessity of building a conscious and responsible media discourse, emphasizing the pivotal role of educational institutions in supporting these paths. The seminar witnessed remarkable interaction through interventions and discussions that enriched the addressed themes.
