In line with its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ practical skills and promote health and first-aid awareness, the College of Agricultural Technologies at University of Al-Mustaqbal organized a face-to-face workshop entitled “Basics of Nursing and First Aid”, delivered by the lecturer Assist. Prof. Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem Al-Saadi, with the participation of a number of academic staff and students. The workshop addressed a range of scientific and applied topics, including the fundamental principles of nursing, mechanisms for dealing with emergency situations, and practical training on first aid procedures in critical incidents. This contributes to enhancing students’ readiness to respond effectively to accidents within and outside the university environment. The workshop also aimed to develop quick response skills and sound decision-making in emergency situations, in alignment with the college’s approach to supporting the practical and applied aspects of education, and improving students’ competencies in health and safety-related fields. This activity comes as part of the scientific and training programs adopted by the University of Al-Mustaqbal, the first-ranked among private universities in Iraq, within its strategy to develop students’ academic and practical capabilities and to foster a culture of safety and first aid within the university community.
