In a creative initiative with profound educational and humanitarian dimensions, Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the College of Fine Arts, has launched a distinguished cultural project consisting of a children’s story series of 17 stories, each representing one of the Sustainable Development Goals through a simple narrative style that combines learning with enjoyment. This collaborative work was authored by Professor Dr. Mazen Hadi Kazar, Professor Dr. Saad Al-Alam, and Ms. Iman Abdul Aziz, forming a pioneering educational experience aimed at instilling sustainability concepts in the awareness of younger generations through stories rich in values and close to the child’s imagination. The series addresses diverse themes such as poverty eradication, environmental protection, quality education, equality, and climate action, transforming each value into an engaging story with a clear humanitarian message that highlights the importance of both individual and collective responsibility in building a better future. This project reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to promoting the principles of sustainable development, not only at the academic level but also through cultural and awareness-oriented initiatives, by producing creative content that contributes to building early social awareness based on positive thinking and responsible behavior. The initiative also seeks to connect literature with development, making storytelling an effective educational tool for instilling universal values in an indirect yet impactful way. Through characters and events, children learn how to become active members of their communities and understand their role in protecting the planet and achieving justice and sustainability. This series is not merely a collection of stories, but seeds of thought planted in the minds of children to grow into awareness and responsibility, helping shape a generation capable of carrying forward the Sustainable Development Goals as a way of life and a vision for a brighter tomorrow.
