Al-Mustaqbal University, specifically the College of Fine Arts / Department of Design, witnessed on April 26 the launch of a distinguished sketching exhibition dedicated to showcasing the works of first-year students, marking an important step in their academic and artistic journey. The exhibition was held under the supervision of Dr. Hamza Alawi, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ali, and Teaching Assistant Mousa Diaa, who were keen to guide students and develop their fundamental drawing and sketching skills, with a focus on enhancing visual perception and artistic expression. The exhibition featured a diverse collection of artworks reflecting varying levels of technical understanding and experimentation. The subjects ranged from still life and anatomical studies to free sketches, highlighting students’ efforts in exploring line, light, and shadow.
