An Open Counseling Session Discusses Students’ Psychological and Educational Challenges

As part of efforts to enhance psychological and educational support within the academic environment, an open counseling session was held in the form of a discussion panel addressing the أبرز psychological and educational challenges faced by students, on April 12. The session was led by Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri, Assistant Lecturer Montadhar Saleh Mahdi, and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. The session witnessed active student engagement, where several issues were discussed, including exam anxiety, academic pressure, and effective coping strategies with academic changes. Practical guidance was also provided to help improve mental well-being and enhance academic performance, emphasizing the importance of creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. This activity aligns with ongoing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by promoting awareness and strengthening the culture of psychological and educational counseling among students.
