As part of enhancing practical knowledge and linking theoretical concepts with clinical practice, a panel discussion titled “Clinical Criteria for Selecting and Fitting the Appropriate Ankle Brace” was conducted by Engineer Aya Talib Hassan on April 19.
The discussion addressed the key standards and criteria used in evaluating patients’ conditions and selecting the most suitable ankle brace, contributing to improved mobility and reduced potential complications. It also highlighted proper fitting techniques and their role in achieving functional stability and supporting the rehabilitation process.
The session witnessed active engagement from participants through questions and case-based discussions, reflecting the importance of such activities in developing clinical skills and improving the quality of healthcare services.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by promoting medical and engineering practices that enhance the standard of healthcare.
