A student innovation was presented as a right-hand simulation glove for a hand rehabilitation system (Robot Training Glove) supervised by engineer hadeer Husam Hashim, reflecting creative efforts to integrate engineering and medical applications. The project was developed by Ghadir Saleh Abdul Zaid, a third-year student, who also participated in the Sustainability Week activities with this innovation, highlighting the role of technology in supporting rehabilitation and healthcare solutions. The project aims to contribute to the development of modern tools for hand rehabilitation after injuries or loss of motor function by simulating natural hand movements and supporting physiotherapy processes more efficiently. This innovation also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting advanced technological solutions that enhance medical rehabilitation. This achievement represents a valuable addition that reflects students’ creativity and their ability to connect academic knowledge with practical applications that serve society and support sustainable development pathways.
