An awareness activity was carried out through the distribution of a brochure titled “Post-Amputation Rehabilitation: Medical and Psychological Aspects” within the university campus, aiming to highlight the importance of comprehensive care for individuals after amputation, addressing both physical and psychological dimensions. The activity was implemented by technician Mohammed Habib Hussein as part of efforts to promote health awareness and enhance medical knowledge among students.
The brochure included informative guidance on the stages of physical rehabilitation, the importance of psychological support in improving quality of life, and the role of modern technologies in reintegrating individuals into society. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by spreading awareness of integrated care approaches and strengthening psychological support for patients.
This activity reflects the university’s commitment to disseminating specialized health knowledge and fostering a humane educational environment that supports individuals in need of continuous care and rehabilitation.
