As part of efforts to support students’ psychological well-being and enhance their ability to cope with academic challenges, a guidance seminar titled “The Role of Educational Counseling in Reducing Practical Exam Anxiety” was held, delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri, on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The seminar highlighted the key factors contributing to increased anxiety during practical exams, along with effective counseling strategies that help students manage stress, build self-confidence, and improve focus and performance. It also emphasized the importance of psychological preparedness, time management, and relaxation techniques as essential elements for academic success. This seminar aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting students’ mental health, and Goal 4: Quality Education, by fostering a supportive learning environment that enhances educational outcomes. The session witnessed positive engagement from attendees, with students expressing their appreciation for the topics discussed and the practical value of such initiatives in helping them approach exams with confidence and reassurance.
