In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality), an awareness activity titled “Women’s Mental Health Between Study and Work” was conducted as part of the Women’s Affairs Committee activities on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
The activity included the distribution of informational brochures highlighting the importance of women’s mental health, especially in light of the challenges of balancing academic and professional responsibilities, and their direct impact on quality of life and productivity.
The activity was carried out by the assistant. Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar, Engineer Hadeer Hossam, and Assistant Lecturer Hala Muhannad Ismail Haqi, focusing on providing practical guidance to enhance psychological balance, manage daily stress, and adopt healthy approaches to time and effort management.
This activity is part of a series of initiatives aimed at empowering women and supporting their psychological and social well-being, contributing to building a more balanced and sustainable community.
