A guidance seminar titled “Effective Communication Skills and Problem Solving Among Students” was held on April 1, 2026, aiming to develop students’ abilities in positive communication and enhance their capacity to address academic and social challenges using structured and practical approaches, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This seminar aligns with: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting a healthy psychological and social environment based on mutual understanding and support. Goal 4: Quality Education, by developing essential life skills that contribute to students’ academic and professional success. The seminar covered several key topics, including principles of effective communication, active listening skills, body language, problem-solving techniques, and decision-making, as well as strategies for managing academic pressure and working in teams. The seminar was delivered by: Asst. Lect. Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar Asst. Lect. Montazer Saleh Mahdi Eng. Aya Talib Hassan The seminar witnessed strong student engagement, with discussions and interactive activities that reinforced the concepts presented and helped achieve its objectives. This activity is part of ongoing efforts to support students and enhance their personal and social skills, preparing them for the labor market and enabling them to contribute to sustainable development.
