A guidance seminar titled “Psychological Support for Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Students” was held on April 1, 2026, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of mental health among students and its role in improving academic performance and adapting to study demands, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This seminar is directly aligned with: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by supporting students’ mental health and promoting psychological well-being. Goal 4: Quality Education, by fostering a supportive learning environment that enhances academic achievement and personal development. The seminar addressed key psychological challenges students may face, such as academic pressure and practical training stress, along with effective strategies for stress management and building self-confidence. The seminar was delivered by: Asst. Lect. Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar Asst. Lect. Montazer Saleh Mahdi Eng. Aya Talib Hassan The seminar witnessed active engagement from students, with numerous questions and discussions that enriched the session and contributed to achieving its objectives. This activity comes as part of ongoing efforts to support students both psychologically and academically, preparing them to confidently face academic and professional challenges while contributing to sustainable development.
