The activities of the 4th Sustainability Week continued on April 14th with a specialized workshop presented by Engineer Tabarak Mohsen Ashour titled "Wastewater Treatment Technologies and Sustainability Perspectives."** The workshop focused on reviewing the latest technical systems and methods used in water recycling and protecting the environment from pollutants. This scientific activity aimed to highlight the strategic importance of water treatment as a fundamental pillar for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and Goal 14 (Life Below Water). The presentation emphasized innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact and transform wastewater into non-conventional resources that can be utilized. This took place amidst distinguished engagement from attendees, who stressed the necessity of adopting these technologies to enhance water security and support national efforts in addressing contemporary climate and environmental challenges.
