A scientific lecture was held for fourth-year students in the Department of Chemical Engineering on Thursday, March 13, 2026, as part of the Process Control course, under the supervision of Engineer Dhafaf Ayman Aweiz, with the aim of supporting the educational process and reinforcing the practical application of engineering concepts. The lecture included a detailed explanation of the basic concepts in process control, with a focus on the importance of controlling operational variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate, given their pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency of industrial processes and improving their performance. The lecture was delivered using a data projector to display illustrative slides that helped simplify scientific concepts. The session saw significant student engagement through asking questions and participating in discussions, which positively reflected on their comprehension of the scientific material and the development of their academic skills in the field of chemical engineering. This activity is part of efforts to support the quality of engineering education and enhance students’ scientific and cognitive abilities, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education.
