Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Selects Al-Mustaqbal University as a Liaison Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation in Cooperation with Arab Scientific Research Councils<br /><br />In a pioneering step towards enhancing scientific research and technological development in Iraq, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued an order to select Al-Mustaqbal University as a Liaison Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. This initiative comes in cooperation with Arab Scientific Research Councils with the aim of enhancing research capabilities and providing an advanced educational environment that contributes to achieving innovation and growth.<br />The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdi, explained that this selection represents recognition of the distinguished efforts made by Al-Mustaqbal University in the fields of education and scientific research, especially in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. He stressed the importance of this initiative in developing the skills necessary to face modern technological challenges.<br />Through this center, Al-Mustaqbal University will work to enhance cooperation between Iraqi universities and research centers, and provide specialized training programs and workshops to support researchers and students in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital technology. The university will also focus on developing joint research projects aimed at addressing regional and international challenges.<br />In a related context, the Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center, Prof. Dr. Nidal Al-Abadi, expressed his happiness with this selection, stressing the university’s commitment to providing the best practices in education and scientific research and supporting innovation through strategic partnerships with various academic and industrial institutions. It is expected that this cooperation will contribute to achieving a common vision to enhance the position of Iraqi universities in the Arab and international arenas in the fields of science and technology. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first Iraqi university.
