Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new international presence in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, placing within the 1201–1400 band globally. This achievement reflects the university's continued presence in international academic rankings and further strengthens its position among Iraqi higher education institutions. The results of the 2027 World University Rankings were announced on 30 September 2026, in an edition that witnessed broad participation from universities and higher education institutions worldwide, reflecting the growing level of international competition in education, scientific research, and academic impact. Al-Mustaqbal University’s inclusion in the ranking is particularly significant in light of the sustained efforts undertaken by the University and its colleges, including the College of Administrative Sciences, to enhance the quality of education and scientific research, encourage academic publishing and research collaboration, and expand engagement with universities and scientific institutions internationally. The College of Administrative Sciences continues to support the University’s strategic direction by developing its academic programs, strengthening the research activities of its faculty members, and participating in local and international conferences and scientific events. The College also works to align educational and research outcomes with the requirements of sustainable development and the labor market.
