In conjunction with the International Day of University Sport, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, organized an extensive sports festival for the 2026–2027 academic year. The event was held under the sponsorship and presence of University President Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, with broad participation from college students and Babylon Sports Preparatory School. Hosted across the college’s specialized sports halls, the festival featured competitive tournaments in futsal, table tennis, badminton, and volleyball, alongside athletic demonstrations in powerlifting, gymnastics, boxing, and fencing that showcased the participants' technical agility and skills. During his tour of the facilities, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi reaffirmed the university’s commitment to advancing sports infrastructure and supporting student activities, praising the collaboration with Babylon Sports Preparatory School in instilling discipline, teamwork, and athletic excellence among youth.
