As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to developing its students’ skills and expanding opportunities for international training and academic exchange, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, met with the students who participated in the international training program hosted by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom, following the successful completion of their academic and cultural program and their return to Iraq. During the meeting, the university president praised the students for the commitment, discipline, and excellence they demonstrated throughout the training period. He emphasized that their participation presented a positive image of Al-Mustaqbal University students and Iraqi students within the international academic environment, while reflecting their ability to make effective use of the educational and training opportunities provided by the university in cooperation with its international partners. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi encouraged the students to make full use of the knowledge, skills, and experience they acquired during the program and to share their experience with their fellow students, thereby extending its benefits to a wider academic community. He stressed that international training represents an important pathway for preparing students for the labor market and enhancing their academic, professional, and personal skills. For his part, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, explained that the program reflects the university's efforts to transform its international academic partnerships into tangible educational and training opportunities that directly benefit students. He noted that the program represents the first experience of its kind within the university's cooperation with British universities and builds upon its initiatives with a number of universities and academic institutions worldwide. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, highlighted the importance of the experience in providing students with opportunities to train and engage within an international academic environment and become familiar with modern educational approaches and technologies. He emphasized that such experiences contribute to developing students’ scientific and practical capabilities and support their future academic and professional pathways. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Cultural Relations Department, along with a number of faculty members from the College of Engineering Technologies who accompanied the students during the program. The meeting reviewed the program’s key stages and its scientific, training, and cultural activities, as well as the knowledge, experience, and skills acquired by the students during their stay in the United Kingdom. At the conclusion of the meeting, the president of Al-Mustaqbal University honored the participating students with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their commitment, active participation, and distinguished representation of the university, while encouraging them to continue developing their skills and benefiting from future opportunities for international training and academic exchange.
