Their Joy Was Our Eid… Al-Mustaqbal University Brought Happiness to Orphaned Children Through the “Eid Clothing” Initiative In a humanitarian initiative that embodied the highest values of solidarity and giving, and under the direct patronage and guidance of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administrative Sciences carried out a humanitarian initiative entitled “Eid Clothing.” The initiative aimed to distribute clothing and gifts to orphaned children ahead of the blessed occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. The initiative brought smiles to the children’s faces and joy to their hearts, reaffirming that Eid is not merely an occasion for celebration but also an opportunity to promote compassion, kindness, and social solidarity and to strengthen bonds of love and cooperation within the community. The initiative was implemented under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, with field follow-up by Mr. Amir Fares, Activity Supervisor. The initiative team was keen to share the spirit and joy of Eid with orphaned children and make them feel part of this blessed occasion. This initiative reflected an important dimension of Al-Mustaqbal University’s mission, which extends beyond education and scientific research to fulfilling its humanitarian and social responsibilities by supporting vulnerable groups and fostering a culture of social responsibility among students and university staff. The “Eid Clothing” initiative demonstrated how the humanitarian activities adopted by the College of Administrative Sciences helped transform academic values into tangible community practices. It also reinforced among students the principles of giving, responsibility, and solidarity, ensuring that the happiness of orphaned children remains a meaningful part of the university's collective memory and humanitarian mission.
