Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its growing global research presence, recording the indexing of **21 new research papers in the global Scopus database** during the period from **August 21 to 27, 2026**, according to a comprehensive bibliometric and statistical analysis conducted by the University of its weekly research output. The President of Al-Mustaqbal University stated that the University had conducted a detailed analysis of the data. The results showed that **76.2% of these publications (16 papers)** were published through open-access models (**Gold, Hybrid, and Green**), enhancing their international visibility and citation potential. Meanwhile, the average number of researchers per paper reached **7.29 researchers**, reflecting the growing scope of collaborative research teams. **Medicine** ranked first among the research fields with **9 publications**, followed by **Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology** with **7 publications**, **Engineering** with **5**, and **Computer Science** with **4 publications**, in addition to contributions in **Materials Science, Nursing, Energy, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and Social Sciences**. In terms of international collaboration, the University's researchers co-authored studies with scientists from **ten countries**, led by **Egypt, Iran, and Saudi Arabia**, with three papers each, followed by **China, Jordan, Pakistan, and Türkiye**, as well as **Hungary, India, and Malaysia**. The University also maintained strong local partnerships with the **University of Babylon, University of Karbala, University of Kufa, and Jaber Ibn Hayyan University**, alongside international partnerships with **University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Wenzhou-Kean University, Taif University, and Khazar University**. These research papers were published by prestigious international publishers, most notably **Nature Research, Elsevier, and Frontiers Media**, in addition to regional academic publishers.
