The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received, in the presence of members of the University Council, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji, Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Babil Branch, in a meeting that addressed ways to strengthen joint cooperation between the two sides and support the academic and educational process in Babil Governorate.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji extended his congratulations and best wishes to the University Presidency and Council on the occasion of Al-Mustaqbal University receiving a grant under the Erasmus+ Program. He commended the university's scientific and academic achievements and its distinguished presence at both the national and international levels.
The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, as well as mechanisms for developing the partnership between the two institutions, particularly through appointing Syndicate representatives in the university's colleges and facilities; announcing employment opportunities available to holders of higher academic degrees through the Syndicate; and reaffirming the continuation of cooperation and partnership in ways that support academic staff, enhance their professional opportunities, and contribute to advancing education in Babil Governorate.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji praised the academic and scientific journey of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasizing that its qualitative advances and successive achievements reflect its ambitious vision for developing higher education and strengthen its position as a prominent academic institution on the national and international educational landscape.
