Represented by its President, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the AI for Good Global Summit, held at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. The participation reflects the University's strategic vision of advancing digital transformation, integrating artificial intelligence technologies into its academic and administrative systems, and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Recognized as one of the world's leading platforms for harnessing artificial intelligence for societal benefit, the summit brought together distinguished researchers, policymakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders from across the globe to explore practical AI-driven solutions for global challenges and accelerate the translation of scientific research into impactful real-world applications.
During the event, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy attended the ITU Kaleidoscope Academic Conference, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies for the Good of Society." The conference highlighted cutting-edge developments in quantum computing, brain-computer interfaces, collaborative robotics, and other emerging technologies shaping the future of innovation.
The summit also featured the launch of the AI Playbook, a practical framework designed to support governments, universities, and research institutions in scaling artificial intelligence initiatives from proof-of-concept projects to sustainable, large-scale implementation.
Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy emphasized that the summit's discussions reflected global priorities for leveraging AI to advance smart agriculture, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience. He reaffirmed Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to strengthening international partnerships, promoting responsible artificial intelligence, and fostering digital citizenship while developing academic programs that combine advanced technological competencies with critical thinking and sustainable development principles.
