On the sidelines of the UK-Iraq Academic Bridge Initiative hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University, the University launched a strategic cooperation initiative with the British Council in Iraq to strengthen international academic collaboration. The initiative was discussed during a meeting between Professor Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Richard Sanderson, Country Director of the British Council in Iraq, in the presence of Professor Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Academic Supervisor of the University. The discussions focused on expanding partnerships with leading UK universities, promoting academic and cultural exchange programs, and enhancing the University's English Language Centers in line with international standards supported by the British Council to strengthen students' and faculty members' language and research skills. The meeting concluded with the presentation of Al-Mustaqbal University Shield to the British Council in recognition of its continued support for higher education, reaffirming both parties' commitment to developing a sustainable international partnership.
